Due to the increasing pressure on our service to provide more and more face to face appointments we are having to limit the number of telephone appointments we can set aside to deal with discussing test results and, as a consequence, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that if you phone between 10-12 each day you will be able to receive an appointment to speak about your test results.
We do still have appointments (4 per GP) put aside each day to discuss test results so please feel free to call after 10am to book one of these.
However, please be assured that should the GP have needed to speak to you urgently regarding your test results they would have contacted you in the first instance and you would not have been asked to contact the practice yourself. Our standard letters are merely our policy and nothing to be overly alarmed with.
