Your Primary Care team, often known as your community healthcare team, is your first port of call for your healthcare needs in the community. Each member of the primary care team has skills and expertise in different areas, enabling you to get the right support, from the right healthcare professional, first time.
To increase public awareness of Primary Care services within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan and support people to make informed choices about when and how to access services, the Health Board have developed a new webpage.
The new webpage cavuhb.nhs.wales/primary-care-services allows members of the public to find out more about the different Primary Care services available and services offered by some GP practices in Cardiff and the Vale. It also enables users to easily find their nearest service using the postcode search function.
Please consult this page before contacting your primary care team as it will assist you in making an informed choice and will ensure that you do not have to visit or contact more than one service by getting it right first time.
