Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication and eligible for repeat prescriptions can order in a number of ways:

• Online – if you are registered for online services you can make a request through the NHS App. Register for online services to order repeat prescriptions, make and cancel appointments, change contact details, review medications and known allergies.
• In Person – drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
• By Post – send it to us remembering to enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
• By Fax – to 02920 437756 (Pengam Green) or 02920 674266 (Cardiff Royal Infirmary branch).

For security reasons we are unable to accept requests for medication over the telephone.

Several local pharmacies now operate a collection/delivery service; please ask for details at your local pharmacy.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please allow 2 working days, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
